Greener Homes Incentive

Whether you’re buying or selling a single family home, we will complete a complimentary Greener Homes Checklist and award up to 5 green stars for properties that make good use of environmentally conscious technologies.

One green star can be earned in each of 5 areas:

energy guide • Appliances and Fixtures
• Energy Sources & Lighting
• Building Materials
• Heating & Cooling Systems
• Site Orientation & Certifications

Each area is checked for energy efficiency, water savings, clean air features and use of recycled or renewable materials.

For every star earned, we give $500 in escrow closing cost credits when we’ve represented you in that purchase or sale. A newly constructed home, having an energy star rating or a Green Built certification, can earn you $2,500 in credits.
