Born in Germany, near Hamburg, raised in Winnipeg Canada and having moved to Southern California at age 16, I’ve experienced some cultural diversity and have developed skills for adapting to change. With a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, I know how to analyze client requirements and solve transactional problems. I use my study in the “science of patterns” to observed market shifts and adapt strategies for making the most of ever-changing conditions.

For the past 40 years my wife Jeri and I have raised our two kids in the San Francisco North Bay and are now enjoying our grandchildren here. From living and working in Mill Valley, San Rafael, San Geronimo, Novato, Petaluma, Sebastopol, Point Reyes and Inverness, I have an intimate knowledge of the communities here and love helping others find the neighborhoods that best fit their circumstances.

As an Information Technology Professional for 25 years, followed by 3 years as a Licensed Appraiser and then 24 years as a Real Estate Broker, I know business, housing and how to effectively represent clients. I’ve owned and managed three Realty offices and have supervised over 50 agents and closed about 3,000 real estate sales and leases over the years.

I’ve mediated disputes between buyers and sellers, successfully keeping everyone out of court, following standard practices and giving sound advice. My communications and negotiating skills are second to none and I operate with high ethical standards, compassionate caring and clarity about my fiduciary duties.
